Oshuntayé Brown is a longtime practitioner of Traditional African Religion and member of Ilé Ewa Olodumare in Salvador da Bahia, Brazil since 2002. A Professional dancer and
choreographer from New Orleans, Tayé has studied and performed traditional African,
Caribbean, Brazilian and African American dance styles around the world. She holds a B.A. from
The University of New Orleans and a M.A. from DePaul University where she focused on Race
and Gender Studies. In addition to her spiritual and artistic work, Tayé is a Social Justice practitioner and SEED leader who helps groups center equity in their organizational structures
and practices.
